Climate Control Design
With over 30 years of providing bespoke Industrial Ventilation Solutions, we have built up an in-house HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) design service.
We cater to a multitude of sectors: from highly regulated close controls systems within the pharmaceuticals industry, to the stringent quality control processes within the nuclear industry. This allows us to provide you with the right tailored HVAC design for any project.

Revit 3D Walkthrough
Our design teams’ adaptable approach enables us to work with consultants and clients throughout the RIBA planning stages providing you with a fully bespoke HVAC system.
Each bespoke design is backed up with industry standard software such as: IES Thermal modelling software and leading-edge Revit modelling. This design software ensure that we can provide you with the most effective and durable Industrial Climate Control Solution - whilst ensuring performance and achieving our own high-quality Health & Safety Standards.
Our in-house Revit engineers take our initial concept designs and model them into reality, ensuring each HVAC design fits within the required space, whilst providing a detailed representation prior to the manufacturing and construction. This mitigates against unnecessary on-site installation and engineering activities, reducing installation time and associated costs, whilst simultaneously providing you with a detailed accurate design fit for purpose.
Installation & Commissioning
We pride ourselves on providing you with the best service throughout the Delivery and Installation of our solutions. Our highly skilled Project Managers and Engineers would work closely with you and would be responsible for every aspect of the project delivery, from pre-construction through to handover and completion.
A dedicated HVAC Project Manager is appointed to every project, who would work closely with you and other contractors on site to deliver the complete HVAC solution.
Our HVAC delivery teams have an array of expertise and experience within the construction industry, with qualifications such as NEBOSH, SMSTS, IOSH, ILM; offering a flexible and agile approach to Project Management.
Air Technology Systems work with our clients to meet tight programs and scope changes swiftly and effectively while always maintaining the highest of quality.
With Health & Safety paramount, Air Technology Systems utilise innovative HVAC installation methods, to ensure a smooth and fast paced delivery of the works, to the highest of quality to meet our clients’ specifications and requirements.
This is then managed closely by our Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure compliance throughout. We offer the complete package of install for our systems and every aspect is managed by our site teams, from the high-level installations, air handling unit installs, flue installs, electrical works, gas works, through to commissioning of the system.
Our dedicated commissioning team are here to guarantee that all of your systems are fully operational to the requirements of your specification. With specialist air balancing engineers, gas-safe engineers and controls engineers, Air Technology Systems will ensure the complete operation of the system, and transition to the end user with complete O&Ms, certifications, and on-site demonstrations of the systems.
ATS offer full PPM contract through our in-house maintenance team who are on call to assist with our aftercare services.
Climate Control Reconditioning
At Air Technology Systems, we have a long list of repeat clients. As part of our service to our existing and new clients alike, we regularly undertake the refurbishment and overhauling of existing Air Handling Units and associated equipment.
The biggest challenge that we face is maintaining and achieving current standards and regulations on equipment that can be more than 10 years old. In these environments, spaces are seldom designed and built for future demolition and refurbishment and expansion.
Through our years of experience, we can overcome these challenges, offering bespoke HVAC solutions to ensure optimum performance and efficiency from existing plant and equipment.
- Full System deep cleaning
- Renewal of old parts, such as belt driven D.O.L (Driven Online) fans – for more efficient VSD (Variable Speed Drive) driven plug fans.
- Upgrade of system controls and software providing intelligent and more functional optimisations of the systems
- Replacement of Gas Heat Exchangers for more upto date models guaranteeing greater efficiency and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Alternatively, these heat exchangers can be replaced with all-electric heating methods for greater efficiency.
- Strip out and replacement of existing air handling units. Our bespoke AHU (Air Handling Unit) refurbishment service is tailored to the needs of the client, with new equipment being supplied either sectional or flatpack – to suit any location.
