Ventilation

ATS use a combination of traditional and innovative ventilation techniques to provide solutions that will maximise the Ventilation efficiency in any situation.

  • Eliminate areas of low ventilation – hotspots.
  • Aid the effective capture of odours.
  • Assist in the prevention of fugitive emissions.
  • Effectively achieve the desired air change rates
  • We can reduce the number of air changes required by using our JETFLO nozzle system that can be up to 10 times more effective than a traditional extraction system.
  • Tackle excess heat issues with a range of solutions.

HVAC

At ATS, we tend to use this term when we are also looking to adjust the temperature of the air being supplied to control the environment. We would still use all the points listed in the ventilation section above, but in addition we can use:

  • Air Handling Units
  • Air conditioning
  • Heat exchangers

Local Exhaust Ventilation

Commonly known as LEV, this aspect of extraction design has its own set of standards associated with it. Our Designers and many of our Project Managers/Engineers possess the appropriate qualifications for this. It involves the capture and removal of contaminants at source.

  • Bag filters/ cartridge filters / cyclone separators

Extract Systems

Often perceived as the primary way that an air change rate/the capture of odours in achieved. We design and install extract solutions in several regulated sectors including the water and nuclear industries.

Extraction on its own is a very poor way of achieving effective ventilation. We often use mechanical supply systems (such as our JETFLO system) to compliment the extraction – particularly relevant to large buildings.

Odour Control Solutions

Our comprehensive range of Odour Control solutions are based on the proven technologies that have demonstrated their effectiveness over many decades. We can advise the most suitable technique, or combination of techniques required to tackle your odour issues, whether that is for a constant odour issue, or just required during maintenance and breakdowns.
